Save money. The benefits. Secondary federation. 6
Description
The Cabot Learning Federation in Bristol is a group of three academies in the eastern part of the city. They have a senior leadership team which oversees the financial management of all three schools, allowing them to save money across the board by not having individual business managers. They explain how the Federation model is a way of saving money all round: they can have their own supply teachers, save on procurement and even hire out their staff as consultants and speakers to make more money on the side. In doing this, they come out better off and the neighbouring schools benefit from improved CPD for all of their teachers.
