Description
In 2000, only 38% of pupils at Hodgson School in Lancashire achieved A-C at GCSE science. In 2007 that figure had risen to an impressive 98%. Deputy Head Toni Roethling takes us through Hodgson's five main improvement strategies: getting the courses right, changing pedagogy, using data to track students, raising expectations, and teacher accountability.
