Meet the parents
Description
Some parents believe their children are perfect. Others think their very average child would be the next Einstein if only the teacher improved the instruction. And yet others are convinced that the teacher is picking on their child and can't see the point of school anyway. Handling parents is one of the trickiest parts of a teacher's life. But can a parent be turned from foe to friend - or at least ally? Mike Baker puts an imaginary case study involving two tricky families to an expert panel to see how they would cope with the considerable provocation the parents provide.
