Arne Jacobson. Architect and designer
Description
Arne Jacobsen is one of the big names in architecture and design. Over a period of almost 50 years he created works within all aspects of the art of construction. And as an industrial designer he created lamps and furniture of which some of the chairs have become the most widespread designer furniture internationally, since World War 2. Professionals compare Jacobson's influence on the 20th century's architecture to C.F. Hansen's influence in the 19th century. That he was also amongst the most distinguished watercolour artists, completes the picture of a talented and incredibly busy man.
