Description

Mike Van Orman, married and the father of two sons, lost both his sight and hearing when he was in his thirties. With the help of the Helen Keller National Center, Mike rose out of the despair of a dark, silent world to a renewed sense of life and purpose. He relearned the skills needed for daily life and discovered he could still enjoy social activities.
