Office of Graduate Studies
The Office of Graduate Studies serves the graduate education needs of the people of the Fox Valley region through a broad array of degrees, certificates and post-graduate offerings, which emphasize educational quality, strong community connections and flexibility in program delivery for learners of many professions.
2006-2007 Highlights
Community
- Produced and aired the first-ever Green Bay television feature about graduate studies.
- Dedicated the new MBA and Graduate Education Center, located in the Regency Suites office complex in downtown Green Bay, in June 2007.
Teaching
- Approved a new Global MBA program to begin summer 2007.
- Approved two new certificates in autism spectrum disorders, and athletics and exercise leadership.
- Began accepting international applicants from Saudi Arabia as part of a Saudi government sponsored scholarship program.
- Began planning for fall 2007 a part-time student option in the Master’s of Social Work Program.
Stewardship
- A student assistant (Laura Donahoe) won the campus Student Employee of the Year award.
- Benefited from hiring new staff member in two key positions in the Graduate Studies office.
