Office of Graduate Studies
The Office of Graduate Studies serves the graduate education needs of the people of the Fox Valley region through a broad array of degrees, certificates and post-graduate offerings, which emphasize educational quality, strong community connections and flexibility in program delivery for learners of many professions.
Community
- Graduate Studies continued to expand its offerings by adding six new certificates to the Business and Education and Human Services colleges.
Stewardship
- In a change to strengthen the role and visibility of graduate studies, the new Office of Graduate Studies began reporting directly to the provost, the chief academic officer of the university.
- Dean Al Hartman of the College of Business was appointed dean-in-residence to university graduate studies.
- Since 2003, the coordinators of the graduate programs in the College of Education and Human Services and the Director of Graduate Admissions and Records have worked jointly to change and improve policies and procedures for graduate students in education.
