"As a first-generation college student, I thought college would be intimidating. But when I visited UW Oshkosh, I met a family-like group of Admissions counselors and advisors willing to answer my questions and listen to me. My concerns became confidence as I discovered that UW Oshkosh is the place where my dreams will become reality.
"After just a few classes, I realized I could make a difference with a career in medical research. I have my whole life ahead of me, and I plan to spend it researching and finding a cure for cancer or Alzheimer’s. After all, making a difference and being there for others is who I am. UW Oshkosh has helped me discover myself, ease my fears and set goals based on what I really love to do."
