I would like to thank Dr. Ganapathy for her dedication to her students. It is at times like these that I realize how smart all of my math professors are and all the other jobs they could be doing with their intelligence. Instead, people like Dr. Ganapathy became professors and have greatly improved the lives of students like me. She is incredible at explaining all levels of math in a way that students will truely understand what is going on, better than most professors I have come across here on campus. At the end of the class she is literally covered with chalk dust. Nothing says dedication like that! It is nice to be able to have a professor that you can count on to really teach you the material, not just to do it because they have to. If anything we should be raising the pay of our professors, not cutting it. Especially the wonderful, dedicated professors in the math department.
