Nancy Harrison serves as the Director of the UW Oshkosh SSS program.  Working with students is the highlight of her job, but a great deal of her time is spent conducting administrative tasks to assure SSS remains at UW Oshkosh.  Prior to joining the SSS family at UW Oshkosh, she started and oversaw the Upward Bound program at UW Manitowoc and UW Sheboygan. Upward Bound is a related TRiO  program that is for secondary students (precollege).  She has been affiliated with the TRiO programs since 1990.

Jolene Schatzinger advises students in the College of Letters and Sciences. She loves encouraging students to delve into their college career by making connections on campus, both in and out of the classroom. She also enjoys working with students to help them create their own unique academic path by exploring areas of study, personal interests, career possibilities, and future goals. Jolene completed her undergraduate degree at Ripon College, where she participated in the Student Support Services program as a student. She is also an alumna of UW Oshkosh, where she received her Master of Science in Education. Prior to joining the SSS office, Jolene was an admission counselor at both Mount Mary University and Ripon College, and served as the Outreach Coordinator for the Ripon Area Chamber of Commerce.

Jenny Woelfel advises students in the College of Education and Human Services, College of Nursing and Social Work.  She enjoys being a resource and guide to students on campus to aide in their educational success and finding a career they are passionate about. Jenny is also the coordinator of the SSS Learning Groups for first year students. She is a UW-Oshkosh Alumna who earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology.  She earned her Master’s degree in counseling from Lakeland College.  Prior to working with SSS, Jenny worked with Upward Bound, another TRiO program. She is happy to be a part of the UW Oshkosh community once again.

Kaitlyn Cooper, Academic Advisor

Kaitlyn Cooper advises students in the College of Business and exploratory students who haven’t yet decided on a major. She enjoys helping students to learn more about their own major or learn about a new major and the related career opportunities. Kaitlyn also helps to coordinate the STEM and Global Citizens Learning Groups for first-year students. She is a graduate of UW-Stevens Point (BFA) and Drake University (M.S.). Before joining the staff at SSS, Kaitlyn was a coordinator for TRIO Educational Talent Search, a pre-college program.
