How do I apply for Financial Aid and Scholarships?
Student Support Services advisers assist students by serving as a liaison between the student and the financial aid office. SSS advisers are available to assist students in finding and applying for loans, grants and scholarships to fund education.

Multiple $1,000 scholarships will be awarded for the 2011-2012 academic year to SSS students meeting the eligibility criteria listed below and who are active SSS members.
Students interested in receiving the scholarship must complete an application form during the Spring 2011 semester. Additional information is available through your SSS adviser.
SSS Scholarship Criteria:
- First or second year college student
- Pell Grant recipient
- 2.50 GPA
- Fulltime enrollment (12 credits/semester)
- Attendance at a minimum of five academic seminars or cultural enrichment events per year (some events may not apply)
- A minimum of four contacts with an SSS adviser per year.
