TRiO Programs Need Your Help! Prevent Congress From Cutting Funds With Your Voice!
SSS students and alumni, TRiO needs your help! TRiO is at risk of losing 8.2% of its funding for next year. That means there will be a cut of $68.9 million for the TRiO programs. What does this mean for you? The SSS and McNair programs here at UWO could be cut if you don't voice your opinion! Here is a link that lists legislators' social media pages/avenues. PLEASE DO YOUR PART AND VOICE YOUR OPINION TO MAKE SURE THIS CUT IN FUNDING DOES NOT HAPPEN! Send them emails, make a call, Tweet, make a Facebook post, Instagram- anything you can to make sure this does not happen! Don't let them take TRiO programs like SSS and McNair away!
