anniepiano.jpgName: Anne Lewis

Major: Music Education w/ Vocal Emphasis

Grad Year: 2016

Hometown: Shawano, WI

What Anne had to say about being in SSS: "In the beginning, I really had no clue what SSS was about. I honestly thought it was just another club trying to get me to join. But after coming to the meetings, making new friends, having an awesome advisor, I can without a doubt say that participating in group and being a part of SSS was one of the best decisions of my academic career and my life. I love everyone at SSS - the advisors, the people I was in group with, the people I work with to make my own group successful. SSS is a wonderful program and I consider myself lucky to be a part of it!"

brian.jpg Name: Brian Felten

Major: Art Education

Minor: Art History

Grad Year: 2014

Hometown: St. Cloud, WI

Look at what Brian said about his SSS experience and advisors who help him: "SSS is a great organization. The people there have helped me so much by pushing me to always do my best and by providing me with the skills and support to reach my goals, both personal and academic. Both Jenny and Mehgan have helped me so much. They have been there to point me in the right direction for when I'm lost, been there to listen to me venting about stress, and I know that they truly care about my well being here at UWO.  Those two have gone above and beyond my expectation and I am truly grateful to them."

Chao Xiong

Name: Chao Xiong

Major: Elementary Education

Grad Year: 2015

Hometown: Milwaukee, WI

Check out why Chao thinks SSS is so great: "I was first introduced to SSS in the Summer of 2011, when I also first met Meghan.  She told me a little about the program and because I was interested I signed up.  I was pretty nervous about attending the first meeting because I was shy and didn't know what to expect. After attending the meetings every week, I can say joining this program has been one of my best decisions thus far.  SSS not only helped me get out of my comfort zone, but also helped me discover myself. Big shout out to Brianna and Sitha for all their help! They were not only great leaders, but great friends! I cannot stress how thankful I am to be part of an amazing program! GO SSS!"
