Foundation Curriculum

Students who do not have an undergraduate degree from an accredited Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) program in the past eight years will complete the Foundation Curriculum.  Foundation students complete 16 hours per week in their Field Placement for 4 credits per semester.

Social Work 701:  Ethical Issues in Contemporary Social Work

Social Work 706:  Social Welfare Institutions
Social Work 707:  Human Behavior in the Social Environment
Social Work 708:  Social Welfare Policy: Contemporary Approaches

Four Credit Courses:

Social Work 709:  Field I: Foundation Social Work Field Practicum
Social Work 710:  Field II: Foundation Social Work Field Practicum
