Donna Ruzicka Altepeter, BA in Theology (St. Louis University) and MSW (St. Louis University), LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Wisconsin), member of NASW and ACSW (Academy of Certified Social workers).
Since Fall 1991, Donna has taught classes on both a full-time and part-time basis. She currently serves as an advisor and senior lecturer in the Social Work department.
Ms. Altepeter has taught Introduction to Social Work, Interpersonal Skills, Family Life Cycles and Transitions, Research, Human Behavior, Practice and Practice Lab, Group Work, Policy, Social Welfare Institutions, and Field Seminar courses.
Donna also serves as an adviser to the students in the major. Her interests in the field include spiritual development, health and social work, and severe mental illness. In 2005, Donna was selected for the Distinguished Teaching Award.
She is currently active in practice with hospice and home care services, and serves at the Winnebago County Literacy Board as well as the board for National Association for Social Workers (NASW), Wisconsin.
