Jeff Marks

Jeff Marks, BSW (UW Oshkosh), MSSW (UW-Madison), LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) is the full time Director of Support Services at Brewster Villiage, a county operated nursing home serving geriatric, short term rehabilitation, dementia, brain and spinal cord injury, chronic mentally ill, and developmentally disabled populations. He has served as a field supervisor for 20 plus years and has been a member of the department's Community Liaison Committee for more than 15 years. He recently began teaching ad-hoc and has taught Community Practice Lab and Field seminar courses. He places emphasis on bringing his years of experience to the classroom and contributing it to the development of the next generation of social workers. In doing so, his emphasis is on interactive learning. Professionally his areas of interest are redesign of long term care to a person-centered model, non-traditional healthcare approaches, mental health services, program development and grant acquisition.
