Colleen Hansen

Colleen began teaching ad hoc in Fall 2005. She then joined the department in Spring 2008 as an academic instructional staff member. Colleen also is an oncology social worker with the Thedacare Cancer Institute in Appleton, where she has supervised Field students for the past 12 years. Colleen has taught Into to Social Work, Transitions in the Family Life Cycle, Generalist Practice, Human Behavior and the Social Environment, and Applied Generalist Practice. She is also an advisor to students in the major. Colleen's professional areas of interest include oncology, palliative care and hospice.
