10th-Annual Earth Charter Summit
The 10th-annual Earth Charter Summit kicks off the weeklong summit with an open house at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Community Garden Oct. 17. Students helped prepare the garden for winter while Nicole Rae and the Traveling Suitcase gave a live musical performance.
54th State Assembly District Debate
Republican Jonathan Krause squares off against Democrat Gordon Hintz in a debate and discussion sponsored by the American Democracy Project on Oct. 14. The two candidates for the 54th State Assembly district answered questions from students and community members.
Test Your Gaydar
University of Wisconsin Oshkosh students were challenged to identify the sexual orientation or gender identification of a panel for the Rainbow Alliance for HOPE sponsored event “Test Your Gaydar” Oct. 13. ”Test Your Gaydar” is one of several events in conjunction with International Coming Out Week.
Fall Fest on the Fox 2010
UW Oshkosh students, faculty, and staff join in on the festivities for Fall Fest on the Fox during the weekend of Sept. 24. The festival included Fish Fry on the Fox dinner buffet, Dragonboat 5K Race, and Oshkosh Community Dragonboat Race and festival.

The Student Organization of Latinos (SOL) hosts a Nicaraguan Folkloric Dance Ensemble and comedian Cristela Alonzo in conjunction with Hispanic Heritage Month.
Constitution Day Events 2010
The American Democracy Project and the Political Science Student Association hosts Constitution Day Events to engage citizens to become involved in their communities on Sept. 16 and 17. Events included speaker Dr. Howard Schweber, Constitution Day Dunk Tank, and free cupcakes and pocket Constitution.
