UW Oshkosh biodigester dedication

A ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony was held May 18 for the nation’s first commercial-scale dry fermentation anaerobic biodigester on the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh’s campus. Once up and running, the biodigester will produce enough energy for electricity and heat for up to 10 percent of UW Oshkosh’s campus. The biodigester will also provide enough energy for electricity for up to 210 homes and heat for up to 180 homes annually.
