| Majoring in Human Resource Management
Human Resource Management professionals design jobs and write job descriptions; recruit, screen and hire new employees; train employees to perform their current jobs more effectively; and help employees develop new skills to take on more responsible positions. They also create systems to monitor and improve individual and team performance, manage pay systems and benefits plans, negotiate and administer labor agreements, and generally manage the employment relationship. AdmittanceAll Human Resource Management majors must be admitted to the College of Business Administration which requires a minimum of 54 credits completed with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 and completion of the pre-business core courses with a 2.2 GPA.
