Summer Camp
Science Outreach offers summer camp for students in grades 3-8. Three weeks of camp are held in August. Register by printing the Summer Camp Brochure, filling out and sending back to Science Outreach (see below for address).

Bring along a sack lunch each day. Lunch is supervised.

A $50 deposit must accompany registration to hold a place. The balance is due on the first day of camp. Unless otherwise requested, your cancelled check will be your receipt.

Refund Policy
Cancellations received before June 1, will receive a full refund minus a $30 processing charge. No refunds will be given for cancellations received after June 1. UW Oshkosh reserves the right to cancel any program due to insufficient enrollment, as well as the right to limit enrollment due to excessive demand. Please advise us when you register if handicapped accommodations are needed. All requests are kept confidential.
Session Topics
Rambin' Robots: They rumble, they spin, they crawl across the floor...they're robots! Play with our robots, and bring home a mini-robot of your own.
Invention Convention: Break it, change it and build it. Use your inventive imagination to solve some wacky problems,and build some gadgets to take home.
Brain Games: Put on your thinking caps, test your intelligence and learn all about the science behind brains.
It's Electric: Break out the batteries and wires, it's time to learn about circuits. Light up light bulbs, build some switches, and make your own capacitor.
Science is Magic: It's magic...then abracadabra, it's science! Discover how chemistry and physics are really the secrets behind many magic tricks, and learn a few to dazzle your friends with.
Let's Grow: It's time to get dirty! Dig into what makes plants grow and thrive, as well as making an indoor herb garden to take home.
The Amazing Space Race: It's not rocket science. Oh wait, it is! Spend the day learning about the solar system while building and racing rockets.
Minerals Rock! Calling all rock hounds. Put on your boots, get out your pick axe, and investigate rocks and minerals from around the world.
Buzzin' Bugs: Insects are amazing little creatures. Spend the day in their world, and learn how they live in ours.
Rena-Science: Take a step back in time and make the same amazing discoveries that Newton and DaVinci did.
