Starting a Small Business The First Step

This two-hour workshop will discuss the practical steps required to successfully start a business, including how to write a business plan, determine what legal structure to use, create a winning team, select a business location and secure startup financing.

In addition to a packet of useful information and time for questions and answers, there will also be an opportunity for participants to meet one-on-one with representatives of local organizations which provide free counseling and technical assistance to startup businesses.

Cancellation Policy

You may withdraw without penalty if we receive notice at least five business days before the day of the program. After that time, there will be a $5 administrative fee. If you fail to attend without canceling your registration, you will be charged the full fee.
