BioWaste

Biological waste is considered to be anything that contains body fluids that are not drippable or pourable.  If contaminate items have drippable or pourable fluids on them, then they are considered hazardous waste.

Sharps are considered BioWaste for the purposes of disposal and should be collected in sharps containers.  Sharps containers and BioWaste bags are available from Central Stores.

All BioWaste will be picked-up upon request and disposed at no charge.
