Major Requirements
These major requirements will take effect Fall 2012. This major is recommended for students who wish to prepare for a career in the various facets of the Radio-TV-Film profession or for students who wish to pursue graduate study.
Required GPA: 2.5 (for upper level courses)

- RTF 114 Introduction to Media Aesthetics
- RTF 115 Introduction to Media Business
- RTF 120 Introduction To Audio/Radio
- RTF 250 Introduction to Visual Media
- RTF 260 Introduction to Post Production
- RTF 305 New Media Theory and Practice
- RTF 310 History of Radio, TV and Cinema
- RTF 499 Outgoing Career Prep (1 credit)
At least one of the following CAPSTONE courses:
- RTF 429 Advanced Radio Production
- RTF 434 Advanced narrative Scriptwriting
- RTF 440 Advanced Visual Production
- RTF 450 Advanced Theory and Criticism
Electives:
An additional 12 credits from RTF electives to meet the minimum requirement.

The Radio-TV-Film Minor is recommended for students who wish to work in fields related to Radio-TV-Film, such as, Art, Business, Speech Communication, English, Music and Theater.
