Tips from the Registrar

Swap: Easy Way to Drop/Add

Students are now able to Swap classes for other classes as part of enrollment. This will make it much easier to change classes and sections. Only one transaction will be necessary and the drop will not complete until the add is finalized.

Need to Repeat a Class? Here is How to Understand the University Repeat Policy and Titan Web

Even though Titan Web will allow you to add a class that you are currently taking to your schedule in a future term, you should not do this because it is a violation of the University Repeat Policy.  You will be administratively dropped from the class in the future term until a grade is received for the class in the current term. The same is true if you enroll in the same class in the summer and fall terms; you will be administratively dropped from the class in the fall term. To be in compliance with the Repeat Policy, you can only enroll in a class for the second time if you already completed the class once and received a grade below a C. If the previous grade was a C or higher, you must complete an Appeal Form which is available in the Registrar's Office, Dempsey Hall, Room 130. If you have questions about this policy, please call 920-424-3454.

Reminders from the Registrar

Diplomas for Spring and Summer 2013 Graduates

Congratulations!  Diplomas for Spring graduates will be mailed to students by mid-August. Summer graduates should expect to receive their diplomas in early October.

Incomplete Grades

If you received an 'I' grade for a fall 2012 course and your instructor does not assign a final grade or request an Extension of Incomplete by May 31, 2013, the 'I' will lapse to an 'F'.  During the week of April 15th, grade lapse warning letters will be mailed to your home address. If you are a prospective Spring 2013 graduate, all 'I' grades must be changed to an appropriate final grade on or before May 31, 2013. Please contact your instructor(s) or the respective department chairperson(s) if you have any questions about 'I' grades.
