On the Record ... The Registrar's Report Faculty and Staff Edition
New Titan Web & Titan Admin Coming August 2008
A new version of Titan Web will be rolled out to students and faculty on August 4, 2008. Instructors will logon to their own Faculty Center in the new Titan Web. Options will be more intuitive and fewer clicks necessary to reach most pages. Brown bag sessions will be held on Tuesday, May 6 from 1:15 - 2:30 and Wednesday, May 7 from 11:30 till 12:30 in Reeve 207 for faculty and instructors who would like to preview the new system. Additional sessions will be held over the summer and in the fall with times and locations to be announced later.
Titan Admin, the administrative users version of PeopleSoft, will also have a new look. Here again, more intuitive menu options will display and less clicks will be necessary to navigate to most pages. Information about the upgrade will be provided through emails and training options will be provided throughout the process.
The current versions of Titan Web and Titan Admin will be available until the evening of Friday, July 25 (specific time to be announced later). Then they will be down until 8:00 a.m. on Monday, August 4, 2008. Please note that no one will be able to use any of these systems until August 4.
Because of the upgrade, current plans are that passwords will be frozen as of April 28. Therefore, users should remember that if they change their password after April 28, they will need to use the earlier password when they first login to the new Titan Web in August. Anyone having problems with the logon to the new Titan Web should contact the Academic Computing Helpdesk at (920) 424-3020. Titan Admin users will need to email tapassword@uwosh.edu for a password reset.
Information about the new Titan Web and the new Titan Admin, including password procedures, will be provided to via campus email accounts and information on the Titan Web and Titan Admin homepages. It is really important to check email accounts over the summer to learn about any procedural changes to logons, e-grading, running class rosters, and administrative functionality.

Do You Have Students Interested in Summer 2008 Classes?
If so, have them check the University's Summer Session page. It includes links to information about tuition, financial aids, course listings and most everything else they would need to know about summer school.
Reminders about GradingAll final grades must be recorded and submitted to the Registrar's Office through Titan Web by the published deadline dates in the e-Grading Calendar. Final grade rosters for classes meeting during the second seven weeks (7W2) or fourteen weeks (14W) will be available on Titan Web beginning May 12, 2008. If you are ready to record final grades for ALL students on your grade roster prior to May 12, contact the Records Office at 0495 to request early generation of the grade roster.
A grade entry tutorial is available at the following web address: http://www.uwosh.edu/registrar/egrading/index.php
NOTE: The deadline date for submitting 7W2/14W grades is Wednesday, May 21, 2008.
Watch your email after processing grades! If successfully submitted, you will receive an email confirmation in your Titan Mail account (@uwosh.edu).
It is recommended that you frequently review your Class Rosters on Titan Web to verify student listings. If a student is attending your class, but not listed on your Class Roster, s/he will not appear on your Grade Roster, and a grade cannot be posted. The student should be instructed to contact the Registration Office (424-3454) with questions regarding official enrollment in the class.
