The Reading Study Center can help students develop the learning strategies necessary to succeed in your courses.

 

Course-specific Learning Strategy Instruction

We welcome the opportunity to work specifically with your students on the study skills you deem essential:

  • Active learning strategies
  • Textbook reading strategies
  • Note-taking
  • Test preparation
  • Multiple-choice and/or essay test-taking techniques

 

Options Include:

  • Out-of-class workshops
  • Individual student consultations
  • Student handouts

All tailored for your course content

 

Past participants include instructors in:

Geography, Kinesiology, History, Sociology, Political Science, Biology, Geology, Edu. Foundations, Psychology, Communications, and the College of Nursing
