Director of TV Services

 

Position Title: Director of TV Services.

Requirements (Degree/Experience): MA or MS. Substantive professional experience in multi-camera production or operations is required. Successful teaching experience preferred. Sample reel required. Criminal background check is required for employment.

Responsibilities: The Radio-TV-Film Area of the Department of Communication seeks a director of TV services to teach and inspire production-oriented students and to supervise/administrate the multi-camera television facilities, the student TV organization, and TV chargeback services. Responsibilities include teaching a mix of courses related to multi-camera production and operations. RTF is driven by a dual purpose: to teach industry skills while encouraging students to help elevate our culture through the creation of thoughtful, responsible communication. Salary is competitive.

Starting Date: September 1, 2008.

Position Title: Director of Radio Services.

Requirements (Degree/Experience): MA or MS. Substantive professional experience in radio is required. Successful teaching experience preferred. Criminal background check is required for employment.

Responsibilities: The Radio-TV-Film Area of the Department of Communication seeks a director of radio services to teach and inspire students and to supervise/administrate the radio facilities, the student radio organization, and the radio station's affiliation with Wisconsin Public Radio. Responsibilities include teaching a mix of courses related to radio production and operations.

Starting Date: September 1, 2008.

Salary: Competitive.

Terms of Appointment: Continuing academic staff instructional.
