ABOUT THE PA MINOR PROGRAM

PA Minor Curriculum (24 credits minimum)

The PA Minor curriculum consists of two parts for a total of 24 credit minimum:

  • Required courses (12 credits)
  • Elective courses (12 credits)

Required courses (12 credits)

Group A: These two courses (6 credits) are required:

  • PUB ADM 102 Contemporary Public Issues (3 credits)
  • PUB ADM 221 Introduction to Public Administration (3 credits)

Group B: Two of the following courses (6 credits) are also required:

  • PUB ADM 307 Administrative Law and Procedure (3 credits)
  • PUB ADM 362 Public Personnel Administration (3 credits)
  • PUB ADM 364 Administrative Leadership and Behavior (3 credits)
  • Political Science 315 Policy Analysis (3 credits)
  • Political Science 321 American Public Policy (3 credits)

Electives courses (12 credits)

Select 4 courses from the following:

Note:

  • Criminal Justice 212 Managing Criminal Justice Organizations may be substituted for PUB ADM 221 Introduction to Public Administration.
