Healthcare Certificate
The department offers a Graduate Certificate of Health Management to students who want to enhance their leadership skills, administrative capabilities and management practices in healthcare organizations.
Courses offered include healthcare administration law, healthcare organization and management and healthcare policy and financing. The certificate consists of 15 credits, nine of which must be taken from the MPA curriculum.
Because credits earned in the certificate program also can apply toward advanced degrees in public administration and business, students have the opportunity to use their graduate certificate as a step towards completing their master’s degree.
