Research

Many students get involved with collaborative research with faculty and present their work at regional and national conferences. Sometimes, students and faculty co-author research papers that are published in scholarly and professional journals.

You are encouraged to talk with faculty members and learn about their research interests. You may be able to assist with their research or you may develop your own research questions and find a faculty member willing to supervise your work.

The UW Oshkosh psychology department's participant pool is available for online sign up by participants, instructors and experimenters.

The psychology department also sponsors two trips abroad to conduct research, one is conducted in cooperation with the Cultural Association of Brazil and the United States (ACBEU) and the other trip is to the Lamanai Field Research Center in Belize to study black howler monkeys.
