Position Title: Assistant Professor
Requirements (Degree/Experience): Ph.D in Psychology with experience in experimental research design. Must be able to teach undergraduate research methods (classroom and laboratory) and courses in area of specialty, which is open. Must also have a research program suitable for undergraduate and graduate student participation.
Preferences: Ph.D. completed by September 1, 2007
Responsibilities: Teach undergraduate courses in research methods and area of specialty. Advise undergraduate students. Conduct research that results in public domain, jury-reviewed presentations and publications.
Starting Date: September 1, 2007
Salary: Competitive
Terms of Appointment: Tenure track.

THE UNIVERSITY
The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh is a comprehensive public university with a tradition of strong programs in the arts and sciences and select professional areas.

Beginning in 1962 the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh introduced graduate study to northeast Wisconsin . Currently, there are 15 master's degree programs with a variety of emphases and areas of specialization.
Approximately 1,600 students pursue graduate education at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh making it one of the largest graduate schools in Wisconsin . These students are trained by some 300 graduate faculty who are dedicated to the highest standards of scholarly achievement and professional development.
