Take an active role in your education and become involved! The Psychology Club and Psi Chi, the National Honor Society in Psychology, provide a scholarly and social environment for students interested in the scientific study of behavior. Enhancing their education, these groups present students the opportunity to learn more about their field of study.
Psychology Club
The student Psychology Club is open to any student with an interest in psychology. The group organizes "field trips" to various mental health agencies in the community as well as social outings including ski trips, snow shoeing, ropes courses, and culture or arts adventures.
The Psychology Honor Society Psi Chi, is directly tied with the Psychology Club, and most members of Psi Chi are also active members in the Psychology Club.
Psi Chi
Psi Chi prides itself on promoting and recognizing excellence in psychological scholarship. Psi Chi provides a local, regional and national forum for obtaining information and developing perspectives about the psychology field, learning about educational and career opportunities, and forming meaningful professional networks.
Eligibility requires a 3.2 GPA in psychology, a 3.0 GPA overall, a minimum of 9 credits of psychology earned at UW Oshkosh and at least 45 credits overall. Induction occurs in the spring. For more information, visit Psi Chi's website at http://www.psichi.org .
