Clinical Psychology & Cognitive Psychology Positions

University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, Department of Psychology, seeks two tenure-track assistant professor positions beginning September 1, 2010.

1) Clinical or Counseling Psychology to teach undergraduate courses to include abnormal, personality, and counseling, with adolescent and introductory psychology also needed. A Ph.D. (by September 1, 2010) in Clinical or Counseling Psychology or related sub-discipline is required. Supervised counseling/therapy experience is desirable. 

2) Cognitive Psychology (sub-specialty open) to teach cognitive and introductory psychology, and other courses at the advanced undergraduate and masters levels. A Ph.D. in Psychology with an emphasis in Cognitive Psychology is required by September 1, 2010.

Excellent teaching skills, ability to develop and maintain an active research program and working with masters and undergraduate students are required for both positions. Advise psychology majors and supervise masters-level theses.
