Welcome from the Provost
The Office of the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs is the principal administrative center for academic affairs on campus. As UW Oshkosh's chief academic officer, the Provost is responsible for the supervision of all colleges, faculty, instructional academic staff and academic programs at the university. UW Oshkosh campus initiatives supported by the office include: the First-Year Experience Program; the Titan Advantage Program; the Emerging Scholars Program; and the Early Alert Program.
The office has played a significant role in efforts to plan the new academic building for the College of Business and units within Letters and Science that is scheduled for completion in fall 2011. It also helped establish the LGBTQ Resource Center and the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning, and refurbished the Multicultural Education Center.
