2:00-3:30 PM

Panelists:
Chip Beal, Multicultural Director, UW-Superior
Judith Hankes, Math Education, UW-Oshkosh
Running Horse Livingston, Graduate Student, UW-Madison

This panel presentation will discuss how we can incorporate greater sensitivity in science and math instruction so as to welcome our American Indian students. Cultural differences can greatly affect student comfort, and thus learning, in a classroom.

Faculty, staff, and administrators from all disciplines are invited to join this interactive statewide discussion.
