1.) Brown Bag Lunches: Cover a wide range of topics related to teaching and learning from programmatic to pedagogical
2.) Teaching & Learning Strategies Sessions; Pedagogical based – this year some are related to Brown Bags to create a dual perspective thematic approach to a topic: e.g. best practices for Smartboard usage in the classroom
3.) Workshops – hands-on skills-based sessions typically with respect to attaining proficiency with technology e.g. this year some are related to Brown Bags to create a dual perspective thematic approach to a topic: Clicker usage in the classroom, Inserting Graphics in Word 2007
4.) Mini-Conferences: Address one topic in- depth (e.g. last year: UW-P NSSE data, SSI Reporting out)
5.) New Faculty Initiatives

- The Committee on Teaching and Learning has been looking into adding questions that refer to student learning to the end of the semester course evaluation forms
- The General Education Committee is beginning a review by department for all General
