OUTSTANDING TEACHING AWARD

Each year, Honors students have the opportunity to commemorate one professor for excellence in teaching.

2011

This year's winner of the Outstanding Teaching Award is Dr. Susan McFadden of the Psychology Department!

University Honors Student Association members Alyssa Brunner and Shane Conner announced Dr. McFadden's triumph at the Honors Graduation Ceremony on May 7, 2012. Dr. McFadden was away at a conference that evening and was presented with the award at the African American Studies Minor Ceremony on May 10.

Dr. McFadden, who is retiring from UW Oshkosh this spring, has taught many Honors courses over the years including the Honors Seminar; HNRS 271/272 (Culture Connection); the Honors Senior Seminar; and Psychology 104. She will be greatly missed by all of us in the UHP. We are grateful for her dedication and friendship, and we wish her every happiness as a retiree!
