Chronicles of an Honors Student Abroad

The following journal entries recount the five months that I, Bryce Scherer, student assistant for the Honors Program and UHP member, spent traveling to, from, and around the country of Australia.

Studying abroad is an excellent experience for anyone interested in seeing the world and experiencing new cultures. I had a fantastic time and would encourage everyone to try a trip abroad, therefore I have decided to share some of my experiences.

While abroad, my temporary home was LaTrobe University in Bundoora, a town 45 minutes away from Melbourne (the second largest city in Australia). From final papers and exams to surfing and skydiving, I had a busy couple of months. I made some life-long friends and lasting memories, some of which I would like to share with you. Enjoy!
