People who have at least one child under the age of 8 can be referred to our program. We have had referrals from several agencies and the school district. to make a referral call bonita at 424-2309. After a referral is recieved, a call is made to the client to set up an appointment to visit with them and lern of their needs. Bonita then makes arrangements for adult classes, child care, transportation, or whatever it will take to assit the person in the meeting their literacy goals.

The family is followed on a monthly basis to see how well the goals are being met and if any assistance is needed. each family is followed for 12 months and is assessed at least 3 times throughout the year. The assessment includes all members of the family. Families remain in the program until all the goals have been met or until they no longer wish to be in the program.
