MUSIC 219 Music and Culture (HU)(3 units)
A study of the music of various historical and/or contemporary cultures. Topics may include music of western and/or non-western cultures, specific composers, genres, cultural topics, or historical eras in western music. This course may be offered with differernt content. With a different subtitle, it may be taken twice with signature of department chair. Open to all university students.
