On June 29, 2004, organizers from the Pride of Oshkosh presented a check for $11,550 to the Oshkosh Public Library board from sponsorship proceeds. From left to right are OPL board members: Scott Woldt, Mary Olson, Don Stolley, Lurton Blassingame, OPL director John Nichols, Patrick Brennand, chair of the Pride taskforce Christie Wells, director of the Paine Art Center Aaron Sherer, John Vette and Robin Asbury of UW Oshkosh and the OPL board. At center is the Cryin' Lion, one of the 33 lions on display throughout the city until mid September. |
