Student Affairs

Graduate Interns in Career Services primarily focus on developing and refining professional skills by interacting with all Career Services constituents. Extensive opportunities are available to practice communication skills, observation, advising students 1:1, presenting to large and small groups, teaching professional skills topics, interacting with faculty, staff, and employers, and participating in career­related events. (flexibility in scheduling negotiable)

College aged students

Demonstrate extraordinary initiative in seeking professional learning experiences and opportunities to develop newskills in serving Career Services constituents. Welcome opportunities to exercise flexibility in preparations and response to Career Services constituent needs. Actively participate as a Career Services team member with willingness to take direction. Work independently, solve problems, and make decisions autonomously as appropriate. Effective communication skills with emphasis on public speaking in small and large groups, writing skills, and opportunities to practice advising, teaching, and group skills. Manage multiple and changing priorities while maintaining excellent customer service to all Career Services constituents. Advocate for diversity and inclusion for all Career Services constituents
