Gain and understanding and working knowledge of the SLIC and its role in higher education and specifically at UW-Oshkosh; Gain and overall knowledge and work experience in the development of the SLIC; Advise (in conjunction with the coordinator) a student committee for the SLIC; Work on creation of a Leadership Training Series for both student groups and advisors to student groups; Help to develop an atmosphere of student leadership and involvement; Work with the coordinator in creating a marketing plan to establish an identity for the SLIC; Meet weekly with the site coordinator.
Undergraduate students (typically traditional college-age students)
None required, but prefer experience with student activities, clubs, or organizations; advising experience is a plus.
