Interest in working with elementary school age students and their families; Willingness to work in a rural setting; Interest in focusing on a standards based developmental guidance program and a willingness to discuss ideas about this; A reliable vehicle.
K-6 grade level. Students are from transient families with very little ethnic diversity (largely Caucasian). High number of blended family and single parent homes.
Understanding of standards based developmental guidance program as defined by ASCA, or a willingness to learn about and discuss this type of program. Student should also enjoy being around young children.
