Individual career counseling appointments; Resume/Cover letter/Correspondence critiques; Group presentations on career topics; Mock interviews; Internet research on career issues/topics; Review of career library materials; Employer development activities including research, phone contact, and personal visits with staff members; Observation and use of 'Focus' automated career planning program; Observation of 'MBTF and 'Strong Skills' assessment instruments; Assistance with Full-time & Internship Job Fair, Workforce Job Fair, Mock Interview Teacher Relay & Etiquette/Attire Program, Career Exploration Day; Other activities as agreed upon.
"Traditional" age college undergraduates-18-22 years old.
Vocational counseling course would be very helpful in addition to the regular counseling courses offered in program. Interest in career assessment and counseling.
