Young Entrepreneurial Scholars Residential Program (YES)

Grades 10, 11, 12

The YES program provides academic and professional development courses and activities to help students prepare for business careers in college. Students with a strong interest in accounting may apply for the YES Internship.

The following summer courses will be offered in the 2012 YES Program:  Developing a business plan and Project Management, Business Accounting, Business Technology, English Composition and Mathematics. Workshops in financial aid, Admissions College preparatory and exploring career options will also be offered this summer.

In collaboration with the UW Oshkosh College of Business, YES students also participate in a field trip to a local business with behind the scenes exposure.  YES students also participate in recreational activities such as bowling, roller-skating, basketball, swimming, and volleyball and participate in a motivational workshop.  

The UW Oshkosh College of Business also invites the 2011 summer programs participants back for a spring campus visit in 2012 to further support and encourage students to pursue a post-secondary education.
