Grades 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12
The SAFE program will provide students with in-depth group discussions on current issues that include inequalities and unjust issues in the United States of America, as well as internationally, and will seek to find solutions. Academic and personal development courses and activities will also be offered to help students prepare for college. The SAFE program will promote the exploration of educational endeavors and various career options, with an emphasis on developing and enhancing skills for college preparation.
*These following courses to be offered in the 2017 SAFE program: English Composition, Mathematics, Intro to LGBTQ, Intro to Social Justice which include human rights, social activism, gender equality, prejudice and discrimination & other related topics, Environmental Justice, as well as workshops in financial aid and admissions College preparatory and exploring career options.
