"I believe change in this country begins with investing in our youth through education.  I am proud to say that I am a first generation college graduate.  My parents were a positive influence, the encyclopedias they bought for us early in our lives, opened up a whole new world of excitement for learning.  Pursuing a college education will be one of the most important investments you will make in your life.  Statistics show that students who attended a precollege program will perform better academically and are better prepared for college life.  I encourage you to enroll in a precollege program prior to college, you will NEVER regret it!
