Poli. Sci. Student Assoc.
Political Science Student Association
The main purpose of this organization is to educate students in the political process through speakers, forums and social functions. It provides academic, faculty, and student support to all students, with special emphasis on political science. It encourages community and university involvement and provides for greater interaction between students and faculty members.
The Political Science Student Association encourages academic and social functions by sponsoring programs, speakers, debates, roundtables, and/or trips. PSSA partners with the UWO chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honor Society. Pi Sigma Alpha is the only honor society for college and university students of government in the United States. For more information and a list of those students inducted into the honor society in previous years see our student awards page (Student Awards).
